Agapanthus Tea Room is located in Gulval, near Penzance in Cornwall. Since we opened in 2017, we have always been keen to deliver great service, quality food and great value for money to all of our customers. When visiting the Tea Room, you’ll be greeted by a friendly, professional and customer focused team, leaving you to relax and enjoy your food and drink. With lovely views over the fields of Penzance and the bay and an ample amount of outdoor seating.
We want to ensure you that the Tea Room is dog friendly too, we offer fluffy blankets and doggie treats to make their visit special too.
Our menu has been carefully developed over the past few years from listening to our customers. We aim to cater for everyone on all occasions, whether it’s just a coffee, light lunch or a slice of cake. Julie and her team take great pride in the service they give and are proud of the fantastic reputation of Agapanthus Tea Room.
Our sandwiches are freshly made daily and all of our cakes are homemade, using locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. We serve a variety of sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes (thanks to our new potato oven) and an ever changing selection of cakes. Our Cornish cream teas are one of our most popular items, coming with either plain or fruit scones and served with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. If you prefer the savoury option we have the option of a cheese scone with either cream cheese or bacon and chutney. We also serve toasted treats, providing traditional tea room staples such as toasted teacakes with real butter.
Along with our menu staples, we also have a range of specials which vary daily. Please check the Specials board when you arrive or visit our Facebook for updates. Please note: from 12th April onwards we will only be accepting card payments.
Lunch is served from 12-2pm. Last orders is 3:30pm.

We are now able to offer Gift Vouchers so you can give someone the Agapathus experience as a present. The vouchers come in denominations of £5.00, £10.00, £15.00 and £20.00 and can be purchased from the Tea Room.
